During this opening keynote, Ms. Ann Greiner will share an overview of the current state of primary care in the United States and describe opportunities for collective action for strengthening and sustaining primary care across the nation.

The Patient-Centered Medical Home and other advanced primary care models will be reviewed, along with gains made to-date, and ongoing challenges to their widespread adoption including the persistence of the fee-for-service model and chronic underfunding of primary care.
