The Camille D. Miller, MSSW, Honorary Lecture is in recognition of a true trailblazer. Camille, in collaboration with Sue S. Bornstein, MD, FACP, and Robert E. Jackson, MD, MACP, recognized the value and intersection of primary care and public health to as an opportunity to advance equitable, comprehensive, and sustainable primary care for all Texans. As a result, Texas Primary Care Consortium, co-lead by Texas Health Institute and Texas Medical Home Initiative, is actively working to address the systemic issues of health care inequities, high costs, and lack of access.
